Professional Biography:
Donna René has her doctorate in chiropractic from Parker University (College of Chiropractic), bachelor of science degrees in Anatomy/Physiology and Health and Wellness, bachelor of arts in environmental education, and masters-level hours in Acupuncture and Applied Kinesiology. She is the owner and primary doctor of A Better Choice Chiropractic where she helps people out of pain, resolves gut issues, improves sleep, or gets rid of chronic illness and disease. Her clients consistently experience a better way of healthcare that honors their body’s innate wisdom to heal without the use of medications and invasive procedures.
Prior to becoming a chiropractor Donna René spent over twenty-five years in the classroom as a junior and senior high school life sciences and biology teacher both in the private and public school sectors. During her years of hands-on education, she developed science standards-based curricula and is the creator/owner of two trademarks for a science based educational game.
Donna René spent several years as the director for para-church organization that created, established, maintained and provided executive level oversight for a faith-based at-risk adolescent crisis intervention and recovery program. Because of this work, she was a highly sought after international keynote speaker, seminar/workshop teacher and consultant on at-risk adolescent and adult crisis intervention and addiction recovery issues.
Donna René is also a veteran of the USDA Forest Service having served over nine years as a Fire Suppression Specialist, Archaeological Specialist, Level 2 Law Enforcement Officer, Wildlife Biologist and Recreation Technician for Sequoia and Sierra National Forests in California.
