Jade is a believer in the power of individual transformation for collective change and how trauma informed practices can support and guide each person’s unique journey.
At 16 Jade took her first training in massage and as she placed hands on her client she felt an almost indescribable electric current of information. The significance of this encounter ignited within Jade an evergreen and ever present curiosity for the human condition and she went on to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Studies.
Jade then pursued a teaching career where she worked mostly with 11-18 year olds specializing in Physical Education, Psychology and Dance.
After the birth of her first child Jade became aware of a distinct lack in provision and education surrounding exercise for pregnancy and postpartum. So she switched the classroom for the fitness studio and taught workshops and fitness classes within the community alongside a private practice for bodywork and c-section recovery.
In 2017 Jade took a career break to care for her youngest daughter with complex medical needs. This gave Jade a chance to continue to study and learn various holistic modalities and further explore the relationship between our physical, emotional and spiritual nature.
Jade now combines her two passions which are teaching and empowering people along their healing journey. Jade works in alternative education provision in the UK where many students are vulnerable and have experienced trauma. Alongside this Jade uses her knowledge of trauma informed care to deeply support clients towards their healing and is developing cpd for fitness professionals and holistic practitioners.
