The Anchor Forge Collection is a two-hour interactive workshop series built for practitioners who work inside sustained pressure — and need something concrete to hold onto when the environment pushes back
Standard professional development gives you information. The Anchor Forge gives you a tool — built by your cohort, pressure-tested in the room, sharp enough to use Monday morning.
— A subject matter expert presents. You receive.
— You leave with a certificate and good intentions.
— Ninety days later, the content has faded.
— Generic scenarios that could apply to anyone.
— Inspiration. Not necessarily change.
— You work. You push back. You write real language.
— You leave with an anchor phrase and a 90-day plan that belongs to you.
— A day-90 check-in arrives automatically. Did it hold?
— Scenarios drawn from your field, your environment, your friction.
— A tool. Not a memory.
Every workshop in the Anchor Forge Collection runs the same way a blacksmith builds a tool. First, you read the wear — what’s cracked, what’s been ground down, what keeps failing under the same pressure. That’s the mirror. Then comes the actual making: foundry, forge, quench, temper. The structure never changes. What changes is who’s in the room: the scenarios, the language, and the science are all built specifically for the professionals attending and the people they serve.
Participants bring their real professional friction. The structure provides the fire. What comes out belongs to them.
This is not a talking-head training. There is no passive lane. The quality of what you leave with is directly proportional to what you put in.
The session runs in sequence. Each phase prepares the room for the next.
The session opens by reflecting the practitioners’ world back to the room — the specific pressures of your role, your environment, and your version of the drift. You hear your own experience described before anything is taught.
Core science: the 3 E’s of trauma, the 4 R’s, fight/flight/freeze/fawn, Secondary Traumatic Stress versus Vicarious Trauma, and the Power Lexicon — translated into the language of your environment. The ammunition you need before the Forge begins.
Three scenarios drawn from real situations in your field. In small groups, you write advocacy scripts — concrete language for navigating the institutional pushback that makes trauma-informed practice harder than it should be. Everything goes into the Live Ledger, a shared document the whole cohort builds in real time.
The room identifies the sharpest script from the Ledger and pressure-tests it against the pushback you’ll actually face. What survives becomes your anchor phrase — a single piece of language you can deploy in the hardest moment on your floor. Yours, not a consensus.
Participants build a personal 90-day plan structured in three progressively deeper commitments: getting the tool into use in the first thirty days, building the habits that hold it in place through sixty, and making it reflex by ninety. The session closes with a guided visualization using the anchor phrase the room claimed.
One piece of language, built by your cohort and pressure-tested in the room. Not a prescribed script. One that fits your voice, your floor, and your circumstances. Sharp enough to use tomorrow morning when the drift starts.
A shared document of every advocacy script, rationale, and power word your cohort generated. It belongs to everyone who was in the room. The best language from the smartest people on your floor, in one place.
Three phases, two tracks (individual and team), and a day-90 check-in that arrives automatically. Not inspiration — structure. The difference between a good training experience and a tool that actually changes behavior.
Every workshop in the Anchor Forge Collection uses the same five-phase architecture. What changes is everything that goes inside it — the scenarios, the language, the science translations, and the 90-day actions. All of it is built specifically for one professional role, in one environment, serving one type of client.
The Collection is growing. If your field isn’t listed yet, it’s coming — or contact us about a custom deployment.
When the Room Becomes the Weight: Resilience tools for educators navigating student trauma, institutional pressure, and the slow drift of vicarious trauma.
After the Code: Practical tools for managing secondary traumatic stress at the pace ER work actually moves.
Steady Hands, Regulated System: Co-regulation techniques for staff holding it together for kids and families in crisis.
Reading the Scene Before It Escalates: Field-ready recognition skills for spotting survival-state responses in real time — built to read as tactical training, not wellness talk.
The Anchor Forge Collection is part of TIC Training Center’s Virtual Live Training offerings. Self-paced certification courses also available at learn.traumainformedcaretraining.com.
If you’re responsible for professional development across multiple teams, departments, or locations, the Anchor Forge Collection is built to scale. The architecture is fixed and replicable. The role-specific content is what makes each deployment land.
Each workshop is built for one professional role in one environment. Your school counselors get a different workshop than your social workers — even though the underlying structure is identical.
Register your team together and group discounts apply automatically. No minimum cohort size required for standard sessions.
The 90-day check-in generates real outcome data from every cohort. Did they use it? Did it hold? What changed? That’s institutional evidence, not anecdote.
Bring 3 or more and your group works its own room during the Forge. The scenarios, the language, the friction — none of it leaves your cohort. Your floor’s problems stay on your floor.
